6th Annual 2008 Support Our Troops Haunted House

2008 is our first year open to the public. What started as a small gathering of family and friends to support our sons and other soldiers serving overseas has grown to a gathering of over 300 people. The Haunted House has outgrown the farm and for that reason we are moving to a public location.
The purpose of the Haunted House to raise community awareness and to support local soldiers who are or have been deployed overseas and/or their families by sending care packages, cards & letters, presenting memorials and assisting them as needed to let them know
“They Have Not Been Forgotten”.
The Haunted House this year will be:
When: October 10th & 11th, from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Where: Dakota County Fairgrounds – 4-H Building
Admission: A $5.00 minimum donation at the door
However, larger donations will be cheerfully accepted.
Matching Funds will be provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
We would also like to honor Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans this year by proudly displaying their photo on our “Wall of Heroes”. If you would like to participate, please send your photos either by mail to: Grant Beyl, 1910 260th Street West, Farmington, MN 55024 or submit them through email at 10horses@frontiernet.net. We would like the following information included with your photo: Your name, rank, unit you were deployed with, branch, dates of your deployment, and your home town. Also include a telephone number if we need to contact you.
In order to comply with local fire safety requirements we will have to re-construct the maze used for the haunted house this year. This is going to be a major expense. We are still looking for sponsors. If you or your business would like to sponsor a scare station in the Haunted House or would like to make a tax deductible contribution, you can do so by sending your contribution to:
